Meet Tikaani
An Inuit word meaning “wolf” — and fittingly, he was the surprise addition to the wolf pack, arriving last as puppy number 9 at 3:35am.

Breed: Husky Mix
Tikaani’s mum, the beautiful Meesha, came into rescue and landed safely in a wonderful forever home — unknowingly carrying precious cargo. A few short weeks later, nine gorgeous Husky mix puppies entered the world, each raised with love, care and dedication by their incredible mum.
Now it’s Tikaani’s turn to find his forever family.
Born as the final surprise of the litter, Tikaani arrived when everyone thought the excitement was over. While he may have been the last puppy to make his appearance, he has certainly made his presence known ever since!
This handsome boy began life as a fluffy white bundle, but as he’s grown, beautiful golden ears and darker golden markings have emerged, making him truly stand out from the crowd. His soft, fluffy coat is impossible not to fall in love with.
Tikaani is already growing into a substantial pup with a big personality to match. He has a booming little voice and isn’t afraid to use it. In true Husky fashion, Tikaani loves to sing and can often be found joining in the morning chorus with his siblings, making sure everyone knows he’s part of the conversation!
Curious, intelligent and adventurous, Tikaani loves being involved in whatever is happening around him. Whether he’s charging headfirst into puppy playtime or investigating something new on his own, he approaches life with confidence and enthusiasm.
Despite his bold nature, Tikaani is also incredibly affectionate. He is often first in line for cuddles and loves being picked up, patted and fussed over. He enjoys having his people close by and thrives on companionship and connection.
As he grows, Tikaani will need a confident, consistent and experienced owner who understands the intelligence, independence and strong personality traits often seen in Husky breeds. He has already shown some early signs of resource guarding, which will require ongoing management, training and clear boundaries to ensure he continues to develop into a well-rounded adult dog.
For this reason, we feel Tikaani would be best suited to a home with older children or adults who can provide the structure, leadership and training he needs to thrive. Experience with Huskies or similar working breeds would be highly regarded.
Tikaani is looking for a family committed to ongoing training, socialisation, exercise and enrichment as he grows. In return, he’ll reward his lucky family with endless love, laughter, loyalty and plenty of Husky conversations along the way.
