Surrendering a dog can be a difficult decision. At Mornington Peninsula Dog Rescue, we recognise that circumstances change and that reaching out for help can be the most responsible option for a dog’s wellbeing.

Our focus is always on the welfare of the dog. The information you provide helps us assess whether we are able to assist and, if accepted into care, place your dog in a suitable foster home while we work towards rehoming.

Please read the information below and complete the surrender request form as thoroughly as possible. While we are unable to accept every dog due to foster capacity, all enquiries are treated with care and respect.

We Value Your Privacy:

We take your privacy very seriously and use SSL encryption for all forms.

We safely delete your information from our files once it is no longer required.

Surrender Fees:

To help us provide the best care for your dog during the Surrender process, a $100 Surrender Fee is required to assist with vet checks and administration costs.
