Meet Puck – Your future best friend!
At just 7 months old, he might be young, but don’t let that fool you—he has the heart of an old soul.
We believe Puck is an American Bulldog x Staffy, and currently weighs 32kg.
Puck loves a rough-and-tumble play session with his bully breed foster brothers, but he can also enjoy a quieter game with his Jack Russell foster sister. She’s not always up for playing, and he totally respects that—he listens when she says, “No, thank you!”
When it comes to people, Puck hasn’t yet met a single human he doesn’t love.
He’s happiest with a gentle stroll followed by a cozy nap on the couch—unless his favourite show, “Dogs Behaving Badly”, is on! Then you’ll find him front and centre, eager to play along with the pups on the screen. Don’t worry, he’s learning to stay put on the couch while he watches.
Food? Oh, Puck loves food! He has great manners and will stay on his bed while the humans eat at the dining table (thanks to his foster siblings for teaching him the ropes). But if everyone’s snacking on the couch, well… Puck’s all in! ( learning some great manners here, too). He won’t snatch, but his "I’m starving" look is pretty convincing.
Puck adores little people. He wants them to be his best friend and play. He can be clumsy as he is a big puppy, so he can knock them over, or get them with his wagging tail. But he is very gentle.
He has met some cats. He had a sniff then wandered off, as they didn’t really interest him much.
Puck does have some special requirements. He requires a quieter lifestyle with short walks a couple of times a day. His hips and knees have given him a little trouble, but his new diet and some injections from the vets will see him improving.
He would benefit from water activity, playing at the beach. He is a water baby, so you won’t find him arguing with this suggestion!
