Othello is a delightful blend of goofy energy and irresistible affection. With his big, soulful eyes and even bigger heart, he’s the kind of pup who can turn a routine walk into a joyful sprint, or a lazy afternoon into a snuggle marathon.
This young man loves his outdoor playtime and is always up for a game of tug with his favourite ropes or a romp around the yard. But don’t be fooled by his playful streak, Othello’s also a professional snuggler. Whether it’s curling up beside you or sneakily inching his way into your lap, this cuddle bug craves love and closeness.
Training & Manners
Othello is a food-motivated student eager to learn, especially if treats are involved! He already knows “here” as his recall cue (although he hasn’t been tested off lead) and has mastered “sit” and “wait” at mealtime. He’s learning to walk on a loose lead and improving every day, though busier areas still get him a bit excited. At home, he’s toilet trained and has been a respectful housemate, never chewing on anything he shouldn’t when left alone.
Best-Fit Family
Othello’s ideal home is an active one. He dreams of daily walks, backyard zoomies, and a warm bed inside after a long day of adventure. Because he’s a big puppy with bouncy energy and a tendency to jump when excited, we feel a home with teenagers or adults would be the most comfortable fit. He’s friendly with other dogs but hasn’t yet been tested with children or cats.
