Beautiful Cole is officially searching for his forever home—a loving family who will continue helping this clever, loyal little pup learn, grow and become the incredible dog we know he can be.
At only six months old, Cole is already showing just how intelligent, affectionate and full of personality he is. With Cattle Dog in his mix, being smart comes very naturally to him!

How to walk nicely without pulling
He is progressing beautifully and is eager to learn. Cole is also proving to be an incredibly loyal little pup who loves being close to his people and involved in whatever they are doing.
Cole absolutely loves playing with other dogs. Like many young Cattle Dogs, he can bring some enthusiastic herding-style nipping into his play, so he would benefit from a confident, well-socialised resident dog who can help teach him appropriate manners and show him the ropes.
He is still in “starvation mode” due to his past and can sometimes be protective of his food. Cole must be fed separately and supported with patience, structure and positive training while he learns that he will never have to go hungry again.
Cole is curious about cats but has been friendly with them. As always, careful introductions and ongoing supervision will be important.
He is toilet trained when he has access to a doggy door and is also crate trained. He happily sleeps in his crate with the door left open and is comfortable sleeping independently, although he is always delighted to curl up for a cuddle when invited.
Cole has also discovered his voice and likes to alert his humans when someone is at the door. He can be vocal with the neighbouring dog, so his new family will need to continue teaching him calm boundaries around barking.
This clever boy is wonderfully good at entertaining himself with a toy , but he is also the definition of a shadow dog. He loves following his humans everywhere—usually so closely that you may find yourself constantly tripping over him!
